Build your dream custom Riedell roller skates with Back Beat Skates. We help you create a fully personalized setup based on your style, performance needs, and fit. Choose from premium Riedell boots, plates, wheels, and accessories to design skates that are truly your own.
If you want to design your boots using Riedell ColorLab, simply select that option during checkout. After your order is placed, we will contact you to confirm your color selections and design details to ensure everything is exactly how you want it.
We also offer flexible payment options through Affirm, making it easier to invest in high-quality custom roller skates without paying everything upfront.
Please allow approximately 8–10 weeks for ColorLab skates and about 12 weeks for full custom Riedell skates. Each pair is built with precision and care, and we promise it’s worth the wait.
For local skaters, every full skate package includes three one-hour practice sessions for 1–2 people at our private practice space.

How does Riedell ColorLab work?
All of the boots we carry can be ordered in ColorLab. We will properly measure your foot, help you design your skates,
and handle the paperwork needed to place your order.
How long do custom Riedell skates take?
Please allow approximately 8–10 weeks for ColorLab skates and approximately 12 weeks for full custom skates.
Can I pay for custom skates over time?
Yes. If interested, you can check out using Affirm, which allows you to make payments to help spread out the cost of your skates.
